In the early days of the pandemic, Etta Wilmont accepts a kind stranger's offer to stay with him. As Etta settles in and falls into a deep sleep she dreams she's a mail order bride in 1870s Kansas. Soon Etta realizes what's happening is very real. She passes back and forth between the present and the past but her actions in the past are starting to change what's happening in the present. Knowing she has the power to make her own future and the lives of others better she seizes the opportunity to fall in love with her dream man in the past and to find him and fall in love with him again in the present.
